Liu Xuejing said that Xinfengxiang will work with the Shandong Energy and Harbin Electric Power Group to complement each other's strengths, unite and work together to speed up the construction process of the project in accordance with the new development concept, strive to build the project into a leading technology, ultra-low energy consumption, ultra-clean emissions, world-class intelligent benchmark power plant. The project will lead a number of high-tech and emerging science and technology projects in Yanggu that are in line with the national industrial policy to create a green and efficient clean energy industrial park. It is understood that the Shandong Energy Liaocheng Xiangguang cogeneration project is the world's first 600,000 kilowatts cogeneration project that integrates the world's leading technologies such as ultra-supercritical and secondary reheating, at present, it has been listed in the first batch of selected projects of Shandong Province in 2020, which will generate 6.6 billion kwh of electricity and provide 11.4 million gigajoules of heat. The project has three outstanding advantages: first, it is the world's first 600,000 kilowatts cogeneration project that integrates the world's leading technologies such as ultra-supercritical and secondary reheating, and second, ultra-low energy consumption, an additional investment of 500 million yuan was made over the original plan, and the use of the secondary reheating technology will result in a thermal efficiency of 61.81 percent for the whole plant. The combined annual average coal consumption for power generation will reach 235 grams per kilowatt hour, which can significantly reduce coal consumption, after completion and operation, the emission of dust, sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxide is 40% , 42.86% and 30% less than that of the projects respectively, which are all better than the national standards of Special Emission Limits for atmospheric pollutants. Sun said the start of the project was important for Liaocheng to implement the strategy of "strengthening the city through manufacturing" and achieve the economic and social development targets for this year at a critical time for the epidemic's prevention and control. The Party committees and governments at the Liaocheng and Yanggu County, Shandong levels should actively support and provide enthusiastic services to help solve various difficulties encountered in the construction of the project. They hope that all parties will ensure epidemic prevention and production safety, speed up the construction progress and put the project into operation at an early date. Peng Zhiguo said that the Yanggu County Party Committee and the county government will make every effort to create an excellent environment to facilitate development, and will make every effort to push forward the project construction. He hoped that the enterprise will carefully organize and speed up the construction so that the project will benefit the society at an early date, to make positive contributions to accelerating the high-quality economic and social development of Yanggu.
